The role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on accounting knowledge, and the ability to work independently while supporting senior management.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial Reporting Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure accurate accounting as per India AS / AS Handle general ledger scrutiny, provisions, accruals, and reconciliations Support finalization of books of accountsTaxation & Compliance Handle GST compliance (returns, reconciliations, notices, audits) Manage Income Tax computations, returns, and assessments Ensure timely statutory compliance (TDS, PF, ESI, ROC, etc.) Coordinate with tax consultants and auditorsAudit & Controls Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits Prepare audit schedules and respond to audit queries Support implementation and monitoring of internal controlsMIS & Management Support Prepare MIS reports, variance analysis, and financial dashboards Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis Provide insights to management for decision-makingTeam & Stakeholder Coordination Coordinate with internal departments and external consultants Guide junior team members when requiredRequired Qualifications & SkillsQualifications Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) 2+ years of relevant post-qualification or industry experienceTechnical Skills Strong knowledge of accounting standards and taxation laws Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP software (SAP, Tally, Oracle, etc.) Understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworksSoft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication and presentation skills Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasksPreferred Skills (Good to Have) Experience in industry-specific accounting (manufacturing, services, BFSI, etc.) Exposure to automation, ERP implementation, or process improvements
