Job Title: Senior ETL Testing EngineerExperience: 8+ Years Work Location: Hyderabad Work Mode: Hybrid Shift Timings: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM IST Notice Period: Immediate joiners onlyJob DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Senior ETL Testing Engineer to join our data engineering and analytics team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in ETL testing, data warehouse validation, SQL testing, and data quality assurance across complex enterprise data environments.Roles & Responsibilities• Perform end-to-end ETL testing including source-to-target data validation, transformation logic validation, and data reconciliation.• Validate ETL workflows, mappings, stored procedures, and incremental/full load logic across multiple data sources.• Execute Data Warehouse testing, including fact and dimension table validation, SCD Type 1 & Type 2 checks, and historical data verification.• Conduct data quality testing – completeness, accuracy, consistency, duplicates, null checks, threshold checks, and referential integrity.• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for large datasets across relational and cloud databases.• Validate CDC logic, incremental loads, and batch schedules.• Perform BI report validation (Power BI / Tableau) by reconciling reports with backend data.• Review Source-to-Target (S2T) mapping documents, functional specs, and business rules.• Collaborate closely with ETL developers, data architects, and business analysts during requirement analysis and defect resolution.• Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA/ALM, and actively participate in SIT, UAT, and production validation.• Support production data validation, root cause analysis, and data issue resolution.Required Skills• 8+ years of hands-on experience in ETL Testing / Data Warehouse Testing • Strong expertise in SQL (Oracle / SQL Server / Snowflake / DB2) • Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter / IICS (preferred) • Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Facts & Dimensions) • Knowledge of CDC, incremental loads, and batch processing • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments • Familiarity with UNIX/Linux commands and shell scripting • Exposure to BI validation (Power BI / Tableau) is a plusPreferred Qualifications• Experience working in Banking / Financial Services / Federal or Regulatory domains • Exposure to cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or Azure/AWS • Immediate availability or notice period up to 15 days preferredWhy Join Us?• Opportunity to work on large-scale enterprise data platforms • Hybrid work model with flexible collaboration • High-visibility role with ownership across data quality and validation • Competitive compensation and growth opportunities
