The role ensures reliable connectivity for clinical systems, EMR platforms, and IoT medical devices while maintaining strict compliance with healthcare IT standards. Key ResponsibilitiesManage full lifecycle delivery of LAN/WLAN refresh programs: assessment, design, implementation, validation, and handover.Coordinate site surveys, RF design, access-point deployment, switch/router/firewall replacement, and structured cabling.Develop migration and cutover plans minimizing disruption to patient-care operations.Lead cross-functional collaboration among Network Engineering and hospital stakeholdersSupervise contractors and vendors for installation, testing, and documentation.Track assets, configurations, and firmware standardization across all sites.Implement change-control procedures and rollback plans per hospital PMO governance.Maintain dashboards reporting OTD, variance, and SLA compliance.Deliver status reports to IT leadership and coordinate executive steering reviews.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in network engineering, Information Technology, or related field.8+ years managing infrastructure projects, including at least 3 in healthcare environments.Proven experience with Wi-Fi 6/6E, RF design tools (Ekahau, AirMagnet), and controller platforms (Cisco, Aruba, Meraki).Strong background in switching, routing, and security (Cisco Catalyst/Nexus, Fortinet, Palo Alto).Skilled in project management platformsPMP or equivalent certification preferredAbility to handle competing priorities is a mustHigh responsiveness is a must to succeed in the roleAbility to support US PST hoursSycomp is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
