GGI takes pride in its alumni, who have successfully established themselves in top organizations across India and internationally.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor in Fashion Design, located in Punjab, India. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for designing and delivering lessons in fashion design, conducting and supervising academic research, mentoring and guiding students in various aspects of their learning and development, and contributing to curriculum development. The role also involves evaluating assignments, projects, and examinations while ensuring adherence to academic excellence and institutional standards.Qualifications- Expert knowledge in Fashion Design, Textile Design, and Apparel Production techniques - Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD, or other industry-standard tools - Strong teaching, mentoring, and academic research skills - Knowledge of fashion trends, sustainable fashion, and industry practices - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills - Ability to work collaboratively with students and staff in educational and creative projects - Master's degree in Fashion Design or a related field (Ph.D. preferred) - Prior teaching or professional experience in fashion design is an advantage - Commitment to continuous professional development and stay updated with industry trends
