Arthan is partnering with an organization who is looking for a Programs and Production AssociateAbout the RoleYou will work closely with the Founder and support the planning, coordination, and execution of artistic programs, productions, and festivals.This is an early-to-mid career, hands-on role offering intensive on-ground exposure to cultural production and institutional operations. The Associate will be deeply involved in the execution of live events and programs, working behind the scenes to ensure smooth, professional delivery under the guidance of the Founder and senior collaborators.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, values seriousness and discipline in the arts, and is keen to build a strong foundation in arts administration and cultural leadership.Key Responsibilities Provide direct programmatic and operational support to the Founder across performances, festivals, and cultural initiativesCoordinate end-to-end event logistics under guidance, including venues, schedules, artists, vendors, and on-ground executionAct as a liaison between artists, venues, vendors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and professional conductSupport documentation, scheduling, and planning processes related to programs and productionsAssist with on-ground coordination during rehearsals, performances, and festivals, including real-time problem-solvingEnsure smooth artist and audience experience during public-facing eventsSupport fundraising or donor-related activities, as required (desirable but not mandatory)Skills & CapabilitiesStrong verbal and written communication skills in English and HindiComfort with MS Word, Excel, email communication, and documentationAbility to take quick, thoughtful decisions in live or time-sensitive situations Highly organised, proactive, and reliable, with strong follow-throughAbility to interact professionally with senior artists, patrons, and institutional partnersWorking knowledge of social media platforms is an advantageGenuine interest in Indian performing arts, culture, and creative ecosystemsPersonal AttributesEmotionally grounded, calm, and steady under pressureComfortable working closely with a strong artistic founder and within clear hierarchiesCollaborative, grounded, and not ego-drivenDependable, adaptable, and solution-orientedWillingness to do unglamorous but essential work during live eventsPreferred BackgroundAcademic background in Humanities, Arts, Arts Management, Psychology, or related fields 2–4 years of relevant experience in NGO programs, arts management, or performing arts organisations Prior experience assisting or independently coordinating multiple live events or programs
