We are looking for high-end interdisciplinary research professionals.For more details about UPES & School of Liberal Studies & Humanities, visit our website: Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Curriculum DevelopmentTeach undergraduate and postgraduate programs across disciplines such as Psychology, Economics, Philosophy, English, Sociology and Political Science.Design, develop, and update curriculum aligned with contemporary academic frameworks, NEP guidelines, and global best practices.Develop innovative pedagogy, experiential learning modules, case studies, seminars, and interdisciplinary courses.Student Mentorship & Academic GuidanceMentor students for academic growth, research projects, dissertations, and capstone assignments.Provide guidance on career pathways, higher education, research pursuits, and internships.Support students’ holistic development through advising and academic counselling.Research & Scholarly EngagementUndertake high-quality research in relevant areas of Liberal Studies & Humanities.Publish in peer-reviewed journals, edited volumes, and reputed national/international platforms.Apply for and contribute to funded research projects, policy research, and interdisciplinary collaborations.Institutional & Academic ServiceParticipate in departmental, school-level, and university committees.Contribute to accreditation processes, curriculum reviews, academic planning, and quality initiatives.Support admissions, outreach activities, and academic events such as conferences, workshops, and seminars.Professional DevelopmentStay updated with emerging trends in humanities education, research methodologies, and interdisciplinary approaches.Engage in continuous learning, faculty development programs, and academic networking.Qualifications & ExperiencePh.D. in relevant discipline (Liberal Studies / Humanities / Social Sciences or allied fields).Minimum 10–15+ years of experience across academia, research, and/or relevant industry exposure.Strong research profile with publications in reputed journals and academic contributions.Prior experience in curriculum development, academic leadership, or program coordination is desirable.Desired Skills & AttributesStrong conceptual clarity and interdisciplinary orientation.Excellent teaching, mentoring, and academic writing skills.Ability to engage students through discussion-based and research-led learning.Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.Commitment to academic excellence and innovation in higher education.
