Job Description

Experience: 6+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering with strong knowledge in both AWS and Azure platforms.Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional).Cloud Expertise: Advanced proficiency in key AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config, Backup, DR) and solid understanding of Azure services (Azure VMs, Storage, VNet, Monitor, Azure AD basics).Server & Operating System Expertise: Expert-level experience with Windows Server administration and strong Linux server administration including user management, system configuration, and troubleshooting.Networking: Excellent understanding of cloud networking concepts including subnets, routing, VPNs, NAT, firewalls, security groups/NSGs, VPC/VNet peering, and hybrid connectivity.Security & Identity: Experience implementing IAM, RBAC, least-privilege access, identity management, and cloud security best practices.Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on experience with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation for automated provisioning and infrastructure management.Monitoring & Logging: Strong skills in CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics for monitoring, alerting, auditing, and compliance.Backup & Disaster Recovery: Experienced in AWS Backup, snapshot management, cross-region replication, and executing DR drills.Databases: Working knowledge of Amazon RDS (MySQL/SQL/PostgreSQL), DynamoDB, and basic exposure to Azure SQL.Automation & Scripting: Experience in PowerShell, Python, and Bash to automate operational and cloud workflows.Troubleshooting: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities across cloud platforms, OS-level issues, networking, and security layers.Cost Optimization: Knowledge of AWS and Azure pricing models, cost monitoring, right-sizing, and implementing cost-efficient solutions.Compliance & Governance: Understanding of standards such as GDPR and HIPAA, and experience implementing governance using IAM policies, tagging frameworks, and configuration audits.Documentation & Collaboration: Skilled in creating SOPs, runbooks, design documents, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.Continuous Learning: Actively keeps up with cloud trends, new service updates, and industry best practices.Multi-Cloud Exposure: Basic familiarity with GCP services.(Salary Range - 20-24 LPA)
