Asst. Manager - Customer Service (Import) Swift Cargo Pvt. Ltd. Andheri (East), Sakinaka, Mumbai Metropolitan Region (On-site) Swift Cargo is a leading International Logistics Company in ocean and air container transportation. We’ve been in this space for over 34 years now with a turnover of about 2500 crores presently. We are present in 5 countries (India, USA, Dubai, Canada, & Thailand) with 20 office & 600+ FTEs. We are leaders in the US- India Trade lane. Job description: Follow up on rates and schedules on a weekly basis.Handle enquiries received from agents (DDP / DDU / DAP).Follow up on agents’ sales leads Regular follow-up on customer enquiries.Nomination follow-up with agents for booking details.Follow up on BL draft, corrections, final BL, and Telex BL for FOB shipments.Follow up on container pre-alerts.Check and verify agent debit notes (DN).Coordinate with warehouse regarding special cargo (heavy / over-dimensional / DG).Raise Proforma Invoices to consignees and obtain confirmation.Raise GST invoices to consignees.Update container status to customers on a daily basis.Update cargo pickup dates Complete cost and revenue charge updates in the system.Plan vessel details for FOB consignees.Follow up on final BL / Telex BL for CIF shipments.Follow up on vessel inward status.Follow-up with customer for outstanding payments. Key Skills and Qualifications Experience: Typically 3-5 years of progressive CS experience ideally within the Freight Forwarding. Education: Any graduation with minimum first class.Industry-Specific Knowledge: A strong understanding of the logistics and freight forwarding business model. Adaptability to Technology: Familiarity with logistics software. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with cross-cultural sensitivity, to build relationships with a diverse, multi-location workforce and international stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to handle the fast-paced nature of the industry and unexpected disruptions.
