The role focuses on teaching, mentoring, and guiding students across creative, technical, and conceptual aspects of fashion design, while integrating contemporary industry practices and research-based learning.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver lectures, studio classes, and practical sessions in fashion design, garment construction, textiles, and fashion illustrationDevelop and update course content, teaching materials, and project briefs in line with academic standardsGuide students through design projects, research work, and final-year collectionsEvaluate student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations, with regular feedbackEncourage innovation, creativity, and critical thinking in student workOrganize and coordinate academic exhibitions, fashion shows, and design eventsCollaborate with faculty members for interdisciplinary teaching and projectsMaintain active engagement with the fashion industry to bring contemporary practices into the classroomContribute to curriculum development and academic research activitiesParticipate in faculty meetings, academic reviews, and institutional initiativesQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion Design / Apparel Design / Textile Design from a recognized institute5–7 years of teaching and/or professional industry experience in fashion design or related fieldsStrong expertise in pattern making, draping, garment construction, textiles, and digital design tools (CorelDRAW, Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO 3D, etc.)Portfolio demonstrating strong design and creative capabilitiesExcellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skillsStrong passion for teaching and creative educationPreferred AttributesExperience in sustainable fashion, fashion forecasting, or stylingExposure to academic research or publications in designAbility to integrate new technologies and innovative teaching methodologiesActive participation in fashion events, exhibitions, or industry collaboratioRemunerationAs per institutional norms and candidate’s experienceHow to ApplyInterested candidates can apply through our Work at ARCH page:
