Senior Software Engineer – Backend (Java)Location: RemoteExperience: 5–8 YearsEducation: B.Tech / B.E.Tech Stack (Mandatory): Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, MongoDB, REST APIs, Hibernate, RabbitMQ, Redis, GitAbout the RoleOur client is building a next-generation home services platform through a unified, beautifully designed app. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-scale, real-time systems at one of Dubai’s fastest-growing tech startups.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop scalable backend systems using Java & Spring BootBuild API-first, microservices-based architecturesImplement customer-to-supplier dispatching and assignment algorithmsEnable real-time order tracking and system availabilityDevelop and optimize RESTful APIs for internal and third-party integrationsPerform database design and modeling across relational and NoSQL systemsImplement secure, flexible attribute management systemsWrite unit and integration tests to ensure backend reliabilityParticipate in on-call rotations and production supportMandatory Skills (Non-Negotiable)Strong hands-on experience with JavaExpertise in Spring Boot / Spring MVCSolid knowledge of RESTful APIs and MVC architectureExperience with MySQL and MongoDBProficiency in Hibernate / ORM frameworksWorking experience with RabbitMQ and RedisStrong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles & design patternsProficient with Git and collaborative development workflowsGood to HaveExperience with AWS, Docker, KubernetesWillingness to work with PHP 7 (Symfony, Doctrine)Experience in high-scale product or platform companiesPrior exposure to e-commerce, order management, or real-time systems
