The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric, including migration from Synapse to Fabric. You will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and modernizing large-scale data pipelines that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Synapse Analytics (Pipelines, SQL Pools, Spark Notebooks).Lead and execute Azure Synapse to Microsoft Fabric migration, including:OneLakeLakehouse / Fabric Data WarehouseDataflows Gen2Fabric PipelinesRefactor and optimize SQL and Spark/PySpark workloads for Microsoft Fabric.Implement secure data access by integrating Azure Key Vault for secrets management.Develop and optimize Power BI semantic models and datasets for performance and scalability.Perform T-SQL performance tuning and Spark optimization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.Create and maintain technical documentation and design artifacts.Participate in client discussions and provide technical guidance and best practices.Required Skills & Experience:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of overall experience in Data Engineering / Big Data.2+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics.Proven hands-on project experience with Microsoft Fabric.Strong proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, Python, and PySpark.Solid understanding of distributed systems and Spark performance tuning.Experience working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP.Familiarity with DevOps practices, including:GitCI/CD pipelinesInfrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Nice to Have:Direct experience in Azure Synapse to Microsoft Fabric migration projects.Power BI performance optimization and enterprise semantic model design.Client-facing project experience.Behavioral & Soft Skills:Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.Excellent prioritization and multitasking abilities.Ability to manage ambiguity and solve undefined problems.Adaptable to new technologies, environments, and processes.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Why Jade Global?Award-winning enterprise partner (Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Boomi, and more)Diverse global culture with over 2,000 employeesHigh-growth environment with opportunities for innovation and leadershipHybrid work flexibility and inclusive leadership culture
