Job Title: Principal Officer – IFSCLocation: IFSC, GIFT City - Gandhinagar, GujaratCompany: Abans GroupAbout the RoleAbans Group is hiring Principal Officers (PO) for its IFSC entities, including Broker Dealer, Fund Management Institution (FMI), and Global In-House Centre (GIC). The Principal Officer will be responsible for regulatory oversight, governance, and compliance in line with IFSCA regulations.This is a key leadership role involving regulatory liaison, governance responsibility, and oversight of regulated financial services activities.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as Principal Officer under applicable IFSCA regulationsEnsure regulatory compliance and governance across IFSC operationsMonitor regulatory changes and assess applicabilityLiaise with IFSCA and other regulatory authoritiesSupport regulatory filings, audits, inspections, and compliance reviewsProvide regulatory guidance on business activities and structuresEligibility & QualificationsAny one of the following:Professional qualification (CA / CS / LLB or equivalent), ORPostgraduate degree/diploma (minimum 1 year) in Finance, Law, Accountancy, Business Management, Commerce, Economics, Capital Markets, Banking, Insurance, Actuarial Science, FinTech, STEM disciplines, ORCFA / FRM, ORAny other qualification as specified by the AuthorityAlternative Qualification:Graduation in any discipline with:Minimum 5 years experience in financial services (Broker Dealer / GIC), ORMinimum 15 years experience in fund management–related activities (FMI)Experience RequirementsBroker Dealer: Minimum 3 years experience in financial servicesFund Management Institution: Minimum 5 years experience in securities markets or financial productsGIC: Experience as prescribed by the AuthorityCertification RequirementMandatory certifications as prescribed by IFSCA / the AuthorityLocation RequirementCandidate must be based out of IFSC, GIFT City
