Job Title

Role - Network Support EngineerYears of Experience - 7 to 12 yearsLocation - Chennai and Pune- Huawei switches , Smart Optics DWDM - Install, configure, and maintain Huawei switches (S5720, S5731, CE 6863 Series, CloudEngine). - Design and implement LAN/WAN topologies with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security. - Manage VLANs, STP, Link Aggregation, and Layer 2/3 routing protocols (Static ,OSPF, BGP, etc.). - Monitor network performance and ensure high availability of network infrastructure. - Apply firmware and software updates for Huawei and Aruba switches. - Integrate Huawei switches and Aruba switches with other networking equipment (Juniper, Fortigate firewall etc.). - Conduct network assessments and provide technical documentation and reports. - Respond to and resolve network incidents, ensuring minimal downtime. - Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure secure network operations. - Certification preferred: Huawei Certified ICT Associate/Professional (HCIA, HCIP). - DWDM - Design, configure, and deploy DWDM optical networks to support high-speed data transport. - Perform installation, commissioning, and testing of DWDM equipment. - Monitor and maintain optical network performance, ensuring minimal latency and downtime. - Troubleshoot and resolve network faults and performance issues. - Collaborate with network planners and architects for capacity planning and scalability. - Create and maintain technical documentation including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures. - Conduct software upgrades and patching on DWDM equipment. - Interface with vendors and third-party providers for support and service level agreements (SLAs) - Hands-on experience with DWDM platforms - Experience with testing tools like OTDR, OSA, and BER testers
