Job Overview The Data Lead/Data Architect will own the vision, design, and delivery of cutting-edge enterprise data platforms and modern analytics solutions across public clouds and hybrid infrastructures. This leadership role requires hands-on expertise in architecting scalable data ecosystems, driving modernization, governance, and AI/ML integration while mentoring global engineering teams to deliver high-impact business outcomes across diverse industries such as BFSI, CPG, Healthcare, and Media. The ideal candidate has a proven record of translating business goals into actionable data strategies, managing large-scale migrations, and executing complex transformations in cloud, data lakes, and advanced analytics.Key responsibilities Define and implement the vision, architecture, and delivery roadmap for enterprise-scale data platforms, ensuring alignment with organizational business objectives.Architect and modernize data ecosystems using Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh, streaming pipelines, and advanced analytics in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks).Oversee the design, deployment, and governance of secure, reliable, and compliant data solutions—including MDM, data lineage, cataloguing, quality, and privacy frameworks.Establish coding, DevOps, and CI/CD standards, and operationalize best practices across the SDLC, driving automation and continuous improvement.Foster a data-driven culture by mentoring talent, facilitating training, and developing future leaders in data engineering and AI.Qualification Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from a reputed institution.18+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or analytics leadership roles, including substantial exposure to managing large teams (20–100+) and global delivery modelsDeep hands-on expertise in modern data architectures: Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh, real-time streaming, MDM, GraphDB/VectorDB, and cloud-native deployments on AWS, Azure, GCP, DatabricksDemonstrated experience architecting, modernizing, and migrating large-scale data platforms, including legacy-to-cloud, end-to-end data pipelines, and advanced analytics/AI integrations.Strong knowledge of data governance, regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA), and designing reliable, secure data solutionsStrong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills—including experience in pre-sales, thought leadership, and change management
