Job Description:Snowflake Cross‑Cloud Replication | Configure and validate Snowflake replication (DBs, roles, warehouses, shares) across AWS → Azure; monitor lag; execute cutover. Snowflake SQL & Object Parity Validation | Validate/migrate views, procedures, and tasks; reconcile logic differences; ensure identical behavior across environments. Snowflake RBAC & Security Model | Deep expertise in roles, grants, ownership, warehouse access, share permissions, and securing multi‑environment deployments. dbt Modeling & Testing | Build and maintain dbt models, tests, and macros; manage CI/CD and promotion across Dev/QA/Stg/Prod. Snowpipe / Streaming Ingestion | Validate Snowpipe auto‑ingest, streaming ingestion patterns, schema drift handling, and ingestion latency. ETL/ELT Pipeline Engineering | Build and optimize Snowflake SQL pipelines using tasks, streams, CDC logic, incremental processing, and performance tuning. Multi‑Environment Promotion & Schema Governance | Manage consistent schemas, versioning, and controlled object promotion across all environments. Cloud Networking for Data Ingestion | Working knowledge of AWS/Azure networking (S3/ADLS, IAM/KMS, Private Link, storage events) for debugging ingestion/connector issues. Monitoring & Troubleshooting | Configure alerts; validate task and pipeline health; monitor ingestion/replication using Account Usage and Information Schema. Fivetran Connector Setup | Configure, validate, and maintain Fivetran connectors across environments; ensure data lands correctly in Snowflake. Data Quality & Validation | Perform SQL‑based reconciliation, row‑level checks, delta comparisons, and freshness validation across environments. Reporting Code Migration | Migrate SQL scripts, dbt models, and stored procedure logic into Azure Snowflake; remove legacy dependencies.Snowflake Data Sharing / Secure Shares | Configure Secure Shares/Data Exchange; validate provider–consumer flows; enforce RBAC policies.
