About the RoleJoin Synergy Marine Group as an Electrical Superintendent and play a crucial role in optimizing the electrical, automation, navigation, and communication systems across our tanker fleet. You will provide high-quality shore-based support, ensuring efficient operations within budget and timelines.Responsibilities include maintenance strategy development, technology evaluation for carbon footprint reduction, lifecycle management, budget planning, vendor management, and procurement liaison.Responsibilities:- Develop maintenance strategies for electrical, automation, navigation, and communication equipment - Identify and propose cost-effective technologies to reduce carbon footprint - Maintain a database of equipment lifecycle, failures, and root cause analysis for data-driven decisions - Prepare yearly budgets and stay updated on relevant rules and regulations - Manage vendors and provide feedback to the category management team - Liaise with the procurement team for timely and cost-optimized spare parts - Ensure timely approval of requisitions and invoice payments - Conduct business/economic evaluations for cost-effective operationsQualifications & Experience:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Marine Electrical and Automation focus preferred) - Minimum 5 years of sailing experience as a Marine Electrical Engineer on tanker Vessel - ETO COC Holder - Desirable: 1-2 years of shore-based experience as an Electrical Superintendent
