Title: Support Engineer – Globalscape EFTLocation: NoidaExperience: 6-8 Years in Globalscape EFT administrationJob Responsibilities- We are looking for a dependable and skilled Globalscape EFT Engineer with experience in managing Globalscape Enhanced File Transfer (EFT) environments. - The ideal candidate will take complete end-to-end ownership of issues and requests, ensuring secure and efficient file transfer operations. This includes user support, workflow troubleshooting, and managing file encryption processes. - Basic Linux knowledge is a plus. - Key Responsibilities: - Take full responsibility for incidents and requests related to EFT—own the task from identification through to closure. - Monitor scheduled transfers, event rules, and platform health; proactively detect and resolve issues. Handle user provisioning, folder permissions, and secure access configurations. - Support and troubleshoot file encryption and decryption issues using PGP or other encryption tools. - Manage and renew SSL/TLS certificates and SSH keys used for secure file transfers. - Maintain EFT configuration related to encrypted file flows and ensure compliance with security policies. - Collaborate with L1, L3, and project teams while ensuring personal accountability for assigned tasks. - Document all SOPs, known errors, and resolutions for recurring issues. - Participate in on-call or shift-based support as needed. - Required Skills & Experience: - 6–8 years of experience in L2 support with Globalscape EFT or similar secure file transfer platforms. Solid understanding of SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, and encryption protocols. - Hands-on experience supporting PGP file encryption/decryption workflows. - Familiarity with Windows Server environments and basic networking concepts. - Understanding of SSL/TLS certificates, key pair management, and secure authentication methods. Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira. - Strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently. - Nice to Have - Basic Linux skills – file permissions, CLI navigation, basic troubleshooting. - Experience with Globalscape modules like DMZ Gateway, Advanced Workflow Engine (AWE), or High Security Module (HSM). Scripting knowledge (PowerShell or Bash). - ITIL Foundation certification or experience in ITIL-driven environments. - Soft Skills: Strong sense of accountability and a proactive mindset. - Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills. - Good interpersonal and communication abilities.
