Key Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and enforce security SOP to safeguard employees, vehicles and visitors - Identify potential security threats and take preventive measures to minimize risks. - Oversee entry and exit controls to prevent unauthorized access for vehicles and visitors. - Ensure the protection of confidential information and intellectual property. - Supervise CCTV surveillance and ensure continuous monitoring of the factory premises. - Conduct routine security inspections of gates, warehouses, production areas, and parking lots. - Monitor any suspicious activities and take immediate action if needed. - Maintain a log of visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel entering and exiting thepremises.- Supervise in-house security staff and third-party security agencies. - Plan security shifts, duty rosters, and patrolling schedules to ensure 24/7 vigilance. - Train security personnel on emergency response protocols, access control, and crisismanagement.- Conduct periodic security drills and mock exercises to enhance preparedness. - Develop and implement Emergency Response Plans for situations such as fire, theft,accidents, and workplace violence.- Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and medical teams whenneeded.- Lead investigations into security breaches, thefts, or workplace incidents and report findingsto senior management.- Ensure proper handling of conflicts, strikes, and labour unrest to maintain order within thepremises.- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory security requirements. - Maintain detailed incident reports, audit logs, and security assessment records. - Prepare monthly security reports for senior management, highlighting key risks andmitigation strategies.- Recommend security upgrades and technology enhancements to strengthen factorysecurity.- Safeguard raw materials, finished goods, and machinery against theft and damage. - Ensure strict vehicle movement control for material dispatch and logistics. - Conduct surprise checks and audits to prevent pilferage and fraud. - Prepare Daily inward report of vehicles, manpower employees and Vehicles - Prepare Daily outward report of vehicles, manpower employees and vehicles - Handle and manage any security incident related to stay or transportation and assist theadmin team in managing security / accident-related issues.- Manage MIS and paperwork reports as per AS standards and rules.Qualifications and Experience:- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminology, Law Enforcement, or a related field(preferred).- 7-10 years of industrial security experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. - Experience in manufacturing, foundry, or heavy industries is an advantage. - Knowledge of security systems, access control mechanisms, and surveillance technology. - Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or private security firms is a plus. - Industrial Security Certification (e.g., PSP, CPP, or equivalent). - Fire Safety and First Aid Training. - Crisis and Disaster Management Certification.
