Job Title

To lead and manage the end-to-end operations of the Stainless-Steel seamless tube manufacturing process. The incumbent will work closely with the Division Head to ensure smooth production, delivery compliance, and quality excellence. The role requires strong technical expertise in stainless steel manufacturing processes and leadership capabilities to drive team performance and operational efficiency.Responsibilities- Lead the production activities across Hot Piercing, Cold Pilgering, Surface Treatment, and Heat Treatment for Stainless Steel seamless tubes. - Manage a team of engineers, supervisors, and workmen to achieve production and quality targets. - Guide and support the production planning team to ensure efficient scheduling and timely deliveries aligned with customer and Railway Division requirements. - Identify and resolve quality and process-related issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions. - Drive best practices in safety, process optimization, and productivity improvement. - Support new product and process developments for various stainless-steel grades. - Ensure adherence to all quality standards and specifications during manufacturing operations. - Maintain close coordination with cross-functional departments such as Quality, Planning, and Maintenance for seamless operations. - (Desirable) Develop and design Cold Pilger tools for process enhancement and cost optimization.Qualifications- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Metallurgy / Production Engineering or equivalent. - 10–15 years of relevant experience in Stainless Steel seamless tube manufacturing, preferably in Hot Piercing, Cold Pilgering, Heat Treatment, and related operations. - Sound knowledge of stainless-steel grades and properties. - Exposure to manufacturing and quality standards (ASTM, EN, etc.). - Hands-on experience in process troubleshooting and improvement. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Analytical problem-solving ability and decision-making skills. - Only 30 days notice period is preferred for this position.
