Job Description

The faculty will contribute to teaching, research, curriculum development, and institutional development in areas such as:Electric and hybrid vehicle design and propulsionBattery technology and energy storage systemsPower electronics and drives for EVsCharging infrastructure and smart gridsEmbedded systems, IoT, and AI/ML in EVsHydrogen fuel cell technology and sustainable mobility solutionsThe position offers opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration, industry partnerships, and international research engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesTeachingDevelop and deliver undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in EV Technology and allied disciplines.Integrate hands-on learning, simulation, laboratory experiments, and project-based instruction.Mentor students in academic, research, and career development.ResearchConduct high-quality research in areas such as EV propulsion, battery management, vehicle integration, and green mobility.Publish in high-impact international journals and present at leading conferences.Supervise UG / Ph.D. students and guide research projects.Secure research funding from government agencies, industry, and international sources.Collaboration and OutreachEngage with EV industry partners for joint research, internships, and technology transfer.Collaborate across departments for interdisciplinary projects (e.g., renewable energy integration, smart mobility systems).Organize workshops, seminars, and faculty development programs.Institutional ServiceContribute to curriculum development aligned with NEP 2020 and AICTE/UGC guidelines.Assist in laboratory development, accreditation (NBA/NAAC), and academic committees.Participate in outreach programs, student mentorship, and departmental administration.Desirable / Preferred ExpertiseElectric & hybrid vehicle design and controlBattery technology, energy storage, and battery management systems (BMS)Power electronics, electric drives, and motor controlEmbedded systems, IoT, AI/ML applications in EVsCharging infrastructure, V2X, and renewable energy integrationHydrogen fuel cell vehicles and sustainable mobility solutionsHands-on lab experience, prototyping, and EV simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS)Desirable ExpertiseCandidates with expertise in one or more of the following will be preferred:Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Design and DynamicsBattery Technology, Energy Storage, and Battery Management Systems (BMS)Electric Motors, Drives, and Power Electronics for EVsCharging Infrastructure, Smart Grids, V2X, and Renewable IntegrationEmbedded Systems, IoT, AI/ML Applications in EVsHydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicles and Sustainable MobilityPlease Share your updated CV on vrushali.mahale@.
