Job Description: We are looking for a Creative Director/ Head of Design to spearhead all in-house creative marketing mandates and lead a diverse creative team. You will interpret business and brand requirements and translate them into effective, on-brand visual creative solutions.This is a‘big picture meets high energy’ role that requires one to have solid visualization and communication skills to ramp up creative campaigns/pitches and break it down for the team and stakeholders alike. Here’s what your day would look like: ● Understand and translate business needs into compelling, on-brand creative solutions.● Take responsibility for the creative vision and the standard of output across team members who work under them.● Effectively address marketing goals and challenges through result-oriented solutions.● Pitch ideas and the creative vision clearly to related stakeholders, as well as communicate with clarity to members of their creative team.● Have strong supervisory, people management, and leadership skills in order to lead and inspire, hire, develop, and oversee their creative team.● Ensure that all creative output/visuals are consistent with the overall brand.● Lead multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines.● Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.● Ask smart questions, take risks, and champion new ideas.● Demonstrate high ownership, agility, curiosity to learn. Requirements:● At least 7 to 8 years of being a creative lead (either in an agency or in a D2C startup). Experience with a food brand is a big plus!● Demonstrated success in managing and leading teams in fast-growing environments.● Have worked on digital-first consumer brand(s), and understand the marketing requirements in terms of platforms and formats.● Impeccable grasp of design software like photoshop, illustrator, CorelDRAW etc..● A solid understanding/interest of/in popular culture, current and historical brand visual trends. (Basically, you love what you do, so you keep a tab on what’s happening inthe world of brands outside of your work.)● Great with original ideas. Clarity of communicating those ideas.● Inspiring, motivating and upskilling their team.● Having fun in the everyday mundane.
