The candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks including Building Desing, Stakeholder Consultation, Project Deliverables, Quality Assurance and Control, Coordination with other disciplines/consultants and project management. They will interact with clients to understand their requirements, manage project timelines, and collaborate with other professionals within the organization to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.Key Responsibilities Lead the conceptualization, design, and delivery of large-scale architectural or urban design projects across various phases (from visioning to construction). Manage and mentor design teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive studio environment. Oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality control, ensuring alignment with both client goals and design excellence. Present design concepts and strategies to clients, communities, and stakeholders with clarity and confidence. Collaborate with internal and external consultants, including engineers, planners, and public agencies. Drive innovation in sustainability, equity, and resilience within the built environment. Contribute to business development efforts through thought leadership, proposals, interviews, and client outreach. Stay ahead of emerging trends in architecture, urbanism, policy, and technology to inform forward-thinking design approaches.Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in architecture and/or urban design with a strong portfolio of built and visionary work. Licensed Architect or eligible for licensure preferred. Demonstrated leadership in complex urban, civic, mixed-use, or infrastructure-oriented projects. Proven ability to lead teams and inspire design excellence. Strong graphic, verbal, and written communication skills. Proficiency in relevant design tools (e.g., Rhino, Revit, Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp, GIS, 3D visualization software). Deep understanding of zoning, planning codes, and policy frameworks. Experience engaging with public agencies, community groups, and multi-disciplinary stakeholders. Experience with sustainability and Green certification (LEED, IGBC or GRIHA) is a plus Willing to travel to project locations for meetings.
