The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets for solar products and solutions, including rooftop solar systems, solar pumps, and other renewable energy offerings. Key Responsibilities - Generate leads and identify potential clients in the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. - Conduct site visits, assess customer requirements, and prepare customized solar proposals. - Present and explain solar solutions, financial models, and ROI to potential clients. - Manage the complete sales cycle — from lead generation to deal closure and post sales coordination. - Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, channel partners, and installers. - Collaborate with the technical and project teams for smooth execution of installations. - Stay updated with solar industry trends, competitor activities, and government policies. - Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. - Participate in marketing and promotional events to enhance brand visibility. Qualifications & Skills - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field. - Experience: 1–5 years of experience in solar energy sales or renewable energy industry preferred. - Technical Knowledge: Understanding of solar PV systems, components, and financing models. - Skills: o Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. o Proficient in CRM tools and MS Office. o Goal-oriented and self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities. o Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - License: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - Sales revenue and target achievement. - Number of leads converted to successful installations. - Customer satisfaction and retention rate. - Market share growth in assigned territory.
