Identify and design data related test cases and standard approaches to automate them, implement internal QA processes. Job Responsibilities:Designing, developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for ETL processes using PySpark, Python, and SQL. Understanding of Test Architect flow and manage data warehouse solutions on Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency. Plan, understand impact across layers and present Test Plan / Strategy for Platform product factoring stability and Performance.Participate in release planning and managing product releases or project components from QA perspective.Establish and enforce best practices in quality engineering, including Testing standards, automation testing, and documentation. Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning. Participate in test strategic planning, testing phase, and cross-functional leadership discussions. Conduct root cause analysis of defects and recommend improvements to enhance product reliability.Requirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5–10 years of experience in Test lead engineering, with a strong focus on cloud-native data solutions. Experience with automation tools/frameworks like Pytest, JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, or custom scripting in Python.Experience in Python, PySpark, Basic Unix and Strong SQL for test data processing and analytics. Proven experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their data services. Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and distributed systems.Understanding Agile test methodologies and defects tracking tool such as Jira.Experience using ETL tools and defect lifecycle management.Experience with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, Control-M Experience in database testing and writing SQL to validate data integrity.Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and version control (Git).Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and data visualization best practices.
