The Garment Merchandiser will oversee day-to-day merchandising tasks, including managing client communication, coordinating production schedules, and ensuring timely delivery of orders. The role involves maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers, monitoring market trends, and assisting in product development to meet customer needs. Additionally, the individual will support sales and marketing efforts to ensure business growth and maintain quality standards in all processes.Qualifications1 Internal & external communication, emails with suppliers + buyers + off team2 Sampling to ensure sampling tech packs and requisition is given to suppliers and followed up to get this on time, + once received to check all measurements and stitching details and check list as given on tech packs for form and fit3. TAP to be done every Friday and a to be achieved list for the following week to be prepared4 Preparing purchase order to supplier for fabrics, trims, cmt to factories and also for package job work5 Accessories & trims in-housing - following up with supplier and fill TAP6 Getting approvals on submissions to customers - forwarding these approvals to factories - competing time action plans7 Advising and assisting production and quality department8 Taking responsibility for inspections and going to factories for inline inspections9 Giving shipping instructions and following shipment.10. assisting accounts team on getting timely payments from buyers and also ensure suppliers are paid on time + making e way bills- 11. ensuring RECO is done by factories and followed up on thoroughly - debit notes to be made accordingly with the assistance of accounts team
