Role OverviewThe Mid Senior Cardiologist will provide comprehensive cardiac care, perform diagnostic evaluations, manage emergency cardiac cases, and support interventional procedures as required. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to the growth of the hospital’s cardiology services.Key Responsibilities- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage cardiac diseases and disorders. - Perform and interpret cardiac investigations including ECG, ECHO, TMT, Holter, and cardiac imaging tests. - Manage acute cardiac emergencies and provide clinical support in ICU/CCU settings. - Assist and perform interventional procedures such as angiography, angioplasty, and stent placements (as applicable). - Develop patient-specific treatment plans and provide counselling on lifestyle modification and cardiac health. - Coordinate with cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, and other medical specialists for integrated patient care. - Maintain accurate clinical documentation as per hospital and NABH/NABH-equivalent standards. - Participate in departmental meetings, case discussions, and continuing medical education activities.Required Skills & Competencies- Strong clinical knowledge in cardiology with hands-on experience in managing cardiac cases. - Proficiency in cardiology diagnostic tools and equipment. - Good decision-making and problem-solving skills. - Excellent patient communication and counselling abilities. - Ability to handle emergencies with confidence and composure. - Team collaboration skills and ability to support junior medical staff.Qualifications- MD/DNB in General Medicine - DM/DNB in Cardiology (mandatory) - Valid Medical Council Registration
