Job Title: Senior IoT Full Stack Engineer Location: Pune/Hyderabad/RemoteWe’re rebuilding a legacy IoT monolith into a modern microservices-based platform on Azure. Looking for a hands-on IoT engineer who can own development across cloud and edge services. This role focuses on Azure IoT, microservices, and edge workloads —not device hardware/firmware .Responsibilities Ramp up quickly on current IoT platform, domain, and modernization roadmap. Design and build cloud and edge microservices using.NET/C#with gRPC and RESTful APIs. Develop, deploy, and manage workloads onAzure IoT EdgeandAKS . Build integrations acrossAzure IoT Hub, Event Hub, Edge Modules, Gateways , and cloud back-end services. Implement DTDL models for device capabilities, telemetry, and digital twins. Own E2E development for data flows: device → edge → gateway → cloud → external integrations. Ensure reliable and secure messaging across IoT protocols ( AMQP, MQTT ) and service communication. Collaborate closely with architects, QA, and product to drive modernization milestones. Contribute to CI/CD, code quality, automation, and performance improvements.Must-Have Requirements 6+ years of software engineering experience with strong.NET and C# . Solid experience buildinggRPC microservicesandRESTful APIs . Strong hands-on Azure IoT skills:IoT Hub, IoT Edge, Event Hub , and related services. Experience withAKSor Kubernetes-based deployments for IoT or distributed systems. Strong understanding of IoT messaging protocolsAMQP and MQTT . Experience designing and integratingEdge + Cloudsolutions (gateway patterns, routing, offline sync, failover). Good hold on DTDL, digital twin concepts, and IoT data modeling.Good to Have Experience with API Gateway patterns, service mesh, or distributed tracing. Exposure to Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, or Time Series Insights. Experience with CI/CD pipelines for IoT or microservices workloads.
