Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst (BA) with deep expertise in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly Frac operations. The ideal candidate should have strong skills in data analysis, mathematical modeling, and data visualization, and be capable of translating complex business needs into actionable insights and technical requirements.Key Responsibilities:- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oil & Gas – focusing on Frac operations, drilling, and production analytics. - Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and user stories for SaaS-based solutions. - Design and validate data-driven charts and visualizations (e.g., time-series graphs, pressure vs. depth charts). - Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to gather requirements and ensure delivery accuracy. - Identify and improve existing workflows for enhanced operational efficiency.Required Skills & Qualifications:- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within Oil & Gas software solutions. - Strong understanding of Frac operations, drilling, completions, and reservoir engineering. - Hands-on experience with SaaS platforms and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar). - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Experience working in an Agile environment.Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with Oil & Gas SaaS providers. - Familiarity with machine learning applications for predictive analytics. - Understanding of industry standards such as WITSML, PPDM, and RESQML.
