Role OverviewWe are seeking a Backend Engineer with 2+ years of experience in Java and Spring Boot. You will be responsible for developing scalable backend services and APIs that power our global inspection and analytics platform. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, writing clean code, and working in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities● Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java Spring Boot.● Build and optimize backend services for scalability, performance, and reliability.● Write clean, modular, and testable code following best practices.● Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL), write efficient queries, and ensure data integrity.● Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs with ReactJS applications.● Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain high code quality standards.● Work closely with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and smooth deployments.Required Skills & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.Experience: 2+ years of professional experience as a Java backend engineer.Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework. Good understanding of REST API design principles. Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL solutions. Familiarity with version control (Git/GitHub) and Agile workflows. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Qualifications● Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).● Knowledge of message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and asynchronous processing.● Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).● Familiarity with unit testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito.
