Build, maintain, and audit complex real estate financial models (DCF, IRR, sensitivity analyses, waterfall structures) in Excel to evaluate new acquisitions, developments, and asset repositioning.Create and manage dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI for portfolio performance, investment tracking, and decision support.Conduct property and portfolio valuations, market research, and benchmarking analysis to support strategic recommendations.Collaborate with asset management, acquisitions, finance, and development teams on financial feasibility studies and investment presentations.Analyze operating and financial data from Yardi and other internal systems to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.Assist with investor reporting, pitch decks, and due diligence for capital raises or dispositions.Stay current with Toronto/GTA real estate trends, economic factors, and industry best practices.Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of experience in real estate investment, finance, private equity, or asset management, with a focus on modeling and analysis.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including nested formulas, macros, and dynamic financial modeling.Strong experience with Power BI for data visualization and business intelligence.Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management/accounting platforms.Solid understanding of real estate valuation methodologies (income approach, comparables, cost).Post-secondary degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.Professional designation or progress toward CFA or FRM strongly preferred.Exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
