Roles & Repsonsibilities1.    QA/QCEnsure GMP, food safety & hygiene is enforced in all areas of factoryMaintain an up to date product specification sheet for all productsMaintain supplier specification & testing recordsActive part of HACCP team to ensure accreditation and implementation timelines are metIdentify gaps in food safety & hygiene through regular mock recalls & internal audits and set measures & controls to ensure gaps are filledAssist with presenting root cause analysis & preventive methods to management when issues related to quality, safety, hygiene & productivity arisesLiaises with external auditors to ensure activities are explained and non conformances are resolved promptly & effectivelyEnsure retention samples for all products are stored and maintainedConduct analytical tests for raw materials and finished goods are performed for every batch and maintain records 2.    ProductionPlan and schedule weekly production ensuring raw materials are stocked and resource allocated efficiently (raw materials, labels, packaging available & stocked, staffing allocated, etc.)Build efficiency & productivity in production capacity through complete understanding of daily activities & demand forecasting through communication with relevant stakeholders 3.    New Product DevelopmentAssist with new product development sourcing raw materials, packaging materials and conducting bench trialsImplement SOPs for production of new products 4.    ReportingPresent daily report for QA, QC and NC to the Factory Manager at the end of every dayExperience2 years experience as QA/QC, production in food manufacturing industry, preferably baking sectorAtleast Bachelors in Food Science or similar degree
