Key Responsibilities:Lead a team of scientists and associates in microbial strain development projects. Design, construct, and optimize microbial strains for improved production of target molecules.Apply advanced molecular biology techniques for genome engineering and pathway optimization. Develop strategies to enhance metabolic flux for improved yield and productivity.Utilize transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics data to identify bottlenecks and guide strain improvement.Work closely with protein engineering and downstream processing teams to achieve project goals. Qualification: Ph.D. in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or related field from a reputed University with excellent academic credentials, and peer-reviewed papers/ patents.Experience: Ph.D. with 6-8 yrs. of industrial experience with ≥2yrs. as team leader.Expertise in CRISPR/Cas systems, metabolic pathway optimization, and omics-based analysis.
