Research Internship (field)               “To understand aging is to understand life itself.”  Position Overview:The Satoru foundation's Field Internship is a unique opportunity for passionate and socially engaged individuals to immerse themselves in understanding how aging unfolds in India’s urban spaces (with a focus on the Hyderabad metropolitan region and nearby areas). Through this Research Field Internship, Interns will work closely with senior adults to explore their lived experiences, daily routines, and social interactions in fast-changing cities.The program combines fieldwork, community engagement, and applied research, encouraging Interns to observe, listen, and document the ways in which senior citizens navigate their everyday lives from informal conversations and family interactions to participation in public and community spaces.
