Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Education Counselor - Sales based in Chennai. The Education Counselor will guide students through career counseling and recommend suitable educational programs. Responsibilities include providing personalized mentorship, assisting with program enrollments, and offering insights into courses that align with students’ career aspirations. The role also involves conducting informative sessions, maintaining strong communication, and ensuring students are well-informed about President Education’s offerings. Key ResponsibilitiesMake daily outbound calls to prospective students and follow up on leads.Counsel students on international program offerings, eligibility, curriculum, fees, and career outcomes.Understand students' academic interests and recommend the right program.Maintain a strong conversion ratio from inquiry → counselling → enrollment.Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.Manage and update leads in CRM; ensure timely follow-ups and closure.Coordinate with the operations and academic teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.Participate in webinars, counselling sessions, and outreach activities as required.Provide regular reports and feedback to the management team.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education/Business preferred).1–3 years of experience in counselling, inside sales, or education salesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities.Ability to work with monthly sales targets.Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.Positive attitude, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.Working Dates - Saturday's & Sunday's working. Week off can be availed during the weekdays.
