As a community member, you’ll have access to a multitude of exclusive technologist roles.Join Andela today to access this opportunity and more in our global marketplace!Our roles are typically filled at lightning speed, so if you’re considering applying, get your application in quickly!About the clientA global provider of professional information solutions serving industries such as healthcare, legal, tax, accounting, finance, audit, risk, and compliance.Focused on delivering information-enabled tools, software, and expert solutions to improve critical decision-making and operational efficiency.Dedicated to developing advanced technologies and collaborating across global teams to build state-of-the-art digital products.Mission-driven culture centered on accuracy, innovation, and supporting professionals who impact lives, businesses, and regulatory systems.About the roleA senior-level data architecture role responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-scale data solutions.Focused on developing data lakes, data warehouses, and operational data stores (ODS) to enable analytics and business intelligence.Involves leading data modeling efforts, building scalable architectures, and optimizing integration pipelines.Also requires close collaboration with engineering, BI, and governance teams to ensure secure, high-quality, and well-managed data environments.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement scalable data architectures for data lakes, warehouses, and ODS.Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for multiple business domains.Ensure data models support performance, scalability, and maintainability.Build and optimize Azure Data Factory pipelines for ETL/ELT processes.Integrate data from multiple sources ensuring data quality and consistency.Implement best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration.Work with Microsoft Fabric and related technologies to enable unified analytics.Leverage Python scripting for automation, data processing, and pipeline enhancements.Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure secure and efficient data flows.Partner with BI teams to design and deliver dashboards and reporting solutions.Ensure data architecture supports self-service analytics and advanced visualization tools.Define and enforce data architecture standards, metadata management, and data governance.Establish security protocols and compliance measures for sensitive data.Must have skills10+ years in Data Architecture (data lakes, warehouses, ODS)Strong data modeling (star, snowflake, normalized)Hands-on Azure Data Factory (ADF) + ETL/ELT pipeline developmentAzure cloud experience (Azure SQL, ADLS Gen2)Python for data automation and processingExperience designing scalable data architecturesData integration from multiple sources with quality & consistencyData governance, metadata management, and security best practicesExperience supporting BI/analytics teamsStrong communication & stakeholder managementNice to have skillsMicrosoft Fabric experiencePower BI/TableauDatabricks & SparkIaC (Terraform/ARM)CI/CD for data (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions)Streaming platforms (Event Hub, Kafka)API-driven integrations & microservicesAzure Solutions Architect certificationConditionsRemote role, primary timezone: UTC+5.5.Contractor role – 6-month contract, renewable.Full-time dedication (40 hours/week).BYOD required.At Andela, we know our strengths lie in our diverse community whose talents, perspectives, backgrounds and orientations we take pride in.
