Jare seeking a skilled SQL Azure Development DBA with strong expertise in database development, administration, and optimization within the Azure cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, and performance tuning for large-scale enterprise applications.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases in Azure.Optimize performance of SQL queries, views, functions, stored procedures, triggers, and indexes.Implement backup, recovery, and high-availability strategies (e.g., Always On, Geo-Replication).Monitor and troubleshoot database performance and connectivity issues.Collaborate with development teams to support database design and integration.Automate database deployment and maintenance processes using Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools.Ensure database security, compliance, and access control policies are enforced.Required Skills:7+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA or Developer.Strong knowledge of Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Storage.Experience with T-SQL, SSIS, and performance tuning.Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines and automation scripting (PowerShell or ARM/Bicep).Understanding of database security and encryption best practices.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Preferred:Experience with SQL Managed Instances and Elastic Pools.Healthcare ExpereienceExposure to NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB) is a plus.Microsoft certifications such as DP-300 or Azure Database Administrator Associate.
