We are expanding our ready-to-wear and premium ethnic categories and are looking for a designer who can take complete ownership of design, sampling, and production.Role Overview:We are looking for an experienced and resourceful Fashion Designer who can independently handle end-to-end product development — from fabric sourcing to design, sampling, costing, and smooth production execution. The ideal candidate should be strong in cost-effective designing, maintaining artisanal detailing while meeting target budgets.Key Responsibilities:Lead design development for ethnic, fusion, and contemporary garmentsCreate cost-effective designs aligned with brand pricing and target marginsManage fabric sourcing, trims, and vendor coordinationBuild tech packs, detailed sketches, and sampling instructionsOversee sampling, fit approvals, and timely productionWork closely with artisans for hand embroidery, handloom detailing, and design executionReplicate, modify, and scale existing best-selling designsEnsure quality control during productionMaintain production timelines and vendor follow-upsWork with internal teams for launches, photoshoots, and catalogingRequirements:3–6 years of experience in ethnic, fusion, or artisan-based fashionStrong understanding of costing and budget-based designHands-on experience in fabric sourcing, sampling, and production managementAbility to translate artisan techniques into commercially viable stylesGood sketching, communication, and vendor coordination skillsAbility to handle multiple styles and deadlines independentlyKnowledge of hand embroidery placements and value-engineered detailingWhat We Offer:Opportunity to build a line for a fast-growing designer brandCreative freedom with access to artisan clustersA role with independence, ownership, and long-term growthTo Apply:Please share your resume + design portfolio + current CTC + expected CTC at:astharatan@
