Job descriptionWe are seeking a Senior Executive – Accounts / Assistant Manager – Accounts with 5 to 7 years of experience in core accounting functions, particularly in Accounts Payable, Reconciliations, Month- End Closing, Accruals & Prepaid Bookings, and Intercompany Accounting. The ideal candidate will be a Commerce graduate with strong analytical and interpersonal skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and working effectively under pressure.Key Responsibilities •Manage Accounts Payable processes, including invoice verification, posting, vendor reconciliations, and timely payments. •Handle month-end closing activities including accruals, prepaid expense booking, and journal entries. •Perform vendor and bank reconciliations ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. •Manage intercompany transactions, and confirmations. •Support audit requirements (internal and external) by preparing and providing necessary schedules and documentation. •Ensure all accounting entries are recorded in line with company policies and accounting standards. •Assist in process improvement initiatives within the finance function to enhance efficiency and accuracy. •Collaborate with cross-functional teams for resolving queries and maintaining vendor relationships.Qualifications and Experience •Education: Graduate in Commerce ( / ) or Semi-Qualified CA. •Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable, Reconciliations, and Month-End processes.Technical Skills: •Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting ERP systems (Tally / Zoho). •Understanding of general ledger accounting, journal entries, and financial controls.Key Competencies •Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. •Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset. •Ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines. •High level of ownership, integrity, and professionalism. •Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
