Today, we're expanding our focus to include technology and digital skills, ensuring that girls learn to code, build with technology, and navigate the internet safely and powerfully.Website: Role Overview The Embedded Entrepreneur will work closely with our teams and local women entrepreneurs to design, test, and document a financially viable solar energy /green business model. This role combines entrepreneurship, financial analysis, and gender-inclusive development expertise. Key Responsibilities: 1. Business Model Development Develop an inclusive and sustainable business plan for solar energy applications suitable for women entrepreneurs Define the value proposition, market segmentation, and operational structure of the business. Identify scalable models that can be replicated across communities. 2. Financial & Cash Flow Planning Prepare a comprehensive financial model including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and detailed cash flow projections. Estimate startup costs, pricing strategies, and return on investment. Identify opportunities for microfinance, blended finance, and impact investment tailored for women-led enterprises. 3. Market and Feasibility Analysis Conduct market research on non-farming solar energy applications in target communities. Assess local energy demand, consumer behaviour, and potential business partners. Map available support ecosystems — policy frameworks, funding schemes, and technical partners. Transform ideas, research, or technology into market-ready business models 4. Capacity Building and Stakeholder Engagement Work with local women entrepreneurs to co-design business models. Bridge the gap between innovation and commercialization. Conduct training or mentoring sessions on business planning and financial literacy. 5. Documentation and Reporting Produce an investor-ready business plan, financial model, and pitch deck. Prepare implementation roadmaps and risk assessment reports. Contribute to project documentation, stake holder reporting, and knowledge-sharing materials. Qualifications & Experience Education: Master's in Business Administration, Development Studies. Advanced qualification (MBA, Finance, or Social Entrepreneurship) preferred. Professional Experience: Minimum 5- 10 years of experience in business development, renewable energy, infrastructure or technology-based business is a plus. Exposure to government policies and incentives related to solar energy. Detailed business plan documents with market analysis and strategy. Financial projection including cash flow, income statement and balance sheet. Familiarity with solar energy technologies, market trends, and off-grid energy solutions. Skills and Competencies: Strong financial analysis and modelling skills (Excel or similar tools). Excellent writing and presentation skills (English and local language desirable). Entrepreneurial mindset with strong social impact orientation. Understanding of gender-inclusive business models and women's empowerment strategies. Strong communication and facilitation skills with grassroots stakeholders. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹10, ₹41,287.20 per month Benefits: Health insurance
