Role & responsibilities 1) Maintenance & troubleshooting during shift/general including switchyard, generator, transformer, HV/LV switchgear system, BTG & BOP distribution system, ensuring the electrical equipment/system availability to minimize the production loss 2) Performing & assistance to operation department for Operation of electrical equipment & system like unit synchronization, fast bus transfer, UAT incomer change over, USS changeover, UPS startup & shutdown, DG trial, battery charger startup & shutdown ,ESP as per procedure 3) Performing & assistance to operation department for Electrical equipment isolation and normalization in switchyard, HV/LV switchgear, generator & its auxiliaries, transformer, HT/LT motors,UPS,DG,battery charger,ESP etc as per procedure 4) Troubleshooting & Maintenance of electrical equipment like motors, starters, breakers, switchgear, transformers, VFD etc as per SMP 5) Ensuring the availability of Electrical tools and PPE in shift & general shift 6) General electrical testing during troubleshooting and fault finding of electrical system/equipment. 7) Interpretation and troubleshooting using installed electrical protection relays like SPAM, SPAJ, REF, REG, REL, and SCADA 8) Performing Emergency handling during complete blackout. 9) Maintaining Shift & general Log book, resolve repetitive and critical defect, SAP Notification reports, closing the defects & PTW & inventory management 10) Functional expertise of SOS, BHM, AUDITS, SOPs, Trainings etc. Preferred candidate profile Must have experience in Thermal Power sector.
