Department : Operations Location : Delhi/NCR Reporting To : Next to Hierarchy Role Overview: The Deputy Manager / Manager – Projects will act as the single point of contact for clients, driving seamless coordination across design, operations, and vendor ecosystems to ensure on-time, cost-controlled, and quality project delivery across pan-India retail environments. The role demands strong commercial acumen, execution leadership, and end-to-end ownership from project initiation to handover. Key Responsibilities: Client & Project Management: • Serve as the primary client interface ensuring proactive communication and service excellence. • Ensure timely completion of projects in line with committed launch dates. • Oversee project budgeting, scheduling, and quality control across all active sites nationwide. • Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining accuracy in scope, pricing, and change orders. • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to standards. • Deliver snag-free handovers and close-out documentation for client acceptance. Coordination & Collaboration: • Ensure design-to-project integration for smooth project execution and alignment on technical feasibility. • Work closely with internal teams (Design, Procurement, Finance, and Operations) to achieve project objectives. • Drive RFP processes ensuring transparency, competitiveness, and quality vendor selection. • Prepare and present weekly progress and cost reports to Senior Management and Clients. • Formulate SOPs aligned with project and organizational standards for consistent delivery. Vendor & Cost Management: • Develop and strengthen a network of general contractors, vendors, and dealers across regions. • Lead vendor negotiations on commercial terms, scope, and delivery timelines. • Maintain strict control over budgeted costs while ensuring optimal resource utilization. • Drive vendor development initiatives to build capacity and readiness for future projects. Technical Oversight: • Review drawings, Prepare BOQs, and material specifications to ensure adherence to quality and design intent. • Possess working knowledge of fabrication processes and materials—including printing, lighting, paint finishes, wood, metal, and new technology applications. • Ensure site readiness and possession from Day 1 for uninterrupted execution. Requirements: • Experience: 5–6 years in project management within retail roll-out / advertising / fixture manufacturing industries. • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Architecture, Engineering, or related field. • Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, fast-paced projects under tight deadlines. • Highly reliable, self-driven, and detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset. • Willingness to travel extensively across India.
