What You’ll Do Conduct industry outreach and open market inquiries with senior and mid-level professionals Support Private Equity client group with pre-transactions diligence requests Conduct investigative primary research on target companies, including business models, financial linkages, supply chain operations, ESG practices, management backgrounds, and third-party relationships Draft structured, client-facing reports for private equity and investment banking clients Execute cold calling strategies to gather market intelligence with minimal supervision Support the firm’s analyst development by contributing to internal training and process refinement Who You Are You have an academic background in Journalism, Public Policy, BBA, BCOM, MBA, LLB, English (Hons), Economics or a related discipline & are passionate about Private Equity and Venture Capital space. You have 0-2 years of experience in primary market research, investigations, due diligence, consulting, risk management. You possess strong communication, client handling skills, business acumen, and are proficient in writing and editing with the ability to structure insights clearly and concisely You’re detail-oriented, research-driven, and thrive in collaborative environments You understand the fundamentals of fraud investigations, due diligence, including evaluating reputational risks, and source-based findings into cohesive reports You’re comfortable conducting discreet market primary research, analyzing stakeholder relationships, and triangulating business intelligence from multiple sources Compensation INR 4–5 LPA + performance-linked variable component All compensation levels are aligned with current market standards and will reflect the candidate’s experience, writing proficiency, and depth of research exposure.
