Job Description

The Incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company and its subsidiaries in Insurance broking, ensuring that all operational processes align with our strategic goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong operational background, capable of fostering collaboration across departments, Customers and Vendors to drive performance and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operational Strategy: o Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s goals to provide high quality services : • To End Customers from issue of policies to Claims processing. • To Insurers for policy Management and new product introduction. • To brokers, intermediaries & Vendors for enabling high commitment from On-boarding, build Sales and ensure Customer sustainance. o IT enablement & Digitisation of Company Operations to provide multi-fold scale up with lowest delivery / processing costs. o Monitor industry trends and incorporate best practices to enhance operational efficiency. 2. Process Management: o Oversee the organization’s operational processes, ensuring optimal efficiency and effectiveness. o Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements. 3. Cross-Departmental Leadership: o Collaborate with department heads to align operational activities with overall business objectives. o Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across all teams. 4. Performance Metrics: o Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success. o Regularly review performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed. 5. Budgeting and Financial Oversight: o Manage the operational budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively. o Analyze financial data to inform decision-making and operational strategies. 6. Risk Management: o Identify potential operational risks and develop mitigation strategies. o Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. 7. Team Leadership and Development: o Build and lead a high-performing operations team. o Promote professional development and training initiatives to enhance team skills. 8. Stakeholder Communication: o Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding operational issues. o Present operational updates and strategic initiatives to the executive team and Top Management. Qualifications: • Engineer or CA with MBA preferred. • Proven experience in an operational leadership role, from Insurance Broking Industry. • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
