While most companies produce thousands of identical fixtures, we create a few hundred unique pieces — each carefully designed, engineered, and crafted to suit a client’s aesthetic and technical requirements. Every light we build is a customized creation — designed in-house, developed through specialized vendors, and finally hand-finished or assembled in our own workshop. Our focus is not on volume, but on perfection, precision, and lasting value. Role Overview We are seeking a Quality Manager who can ensure world-class craftsmanship and reliability in every light that leaves our workshop. This role demands deep technical understanding, a sharp eye for detail, and a zero-tolerance attitude toward compromise. The right candidate should be capable of managing complete quality control across in-house and vendor processes with minimal manpower. Since every project we undertake is different, this person must be capable of learning, researching, and adapting quickly to new materials, techniques, and manufacturing methods. Key Responsibilities 1. Incoming Material Quality Control 2. In-Process Quality Assurance 3. Final Inspection & Dispatch Readiness 4. Process Improvement & Documentation 5. Vendor & Workshop Coordination 6. Research & Learning Orientation Required Skills & Attributes Strong observational and analytical skills. Excellent understanding of mechanical, electrical, and aesthetic quality parameters. Hands-on experience with fabrication, finishing, and assembly processes. Ability to document, record, and communicate findings precisely. “No compromise” attitude toward quality — no ‘chalta hai’ mindset. Ability to manage the complete QC function independently with one assistant. Proactive problem-solving and root-cause identification mindset. Preferred Experience & Qualification Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electronics / Electrical / Production Engineering or Industrial Design. 5–10 years of experience in a low-volume, high-variety production environment (lighting, furniture, or automotive prototype manufacturing preferred). Prior experience in quality inspection, process control, or vendor quality management. Basic computer literacy (Excel, Google Sheets, documentation, and photo-based reporting).
