Role Overview The Manager – Travel Desk will be responsible for managing all aspects of employee travel, including booking air/rail tickets, hotels, and cabs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and a seamless travel experience. This role requires strong vendor management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain accurate travel data and MIS reports. Key Responsibilities Travel Coordination: Manage end-to-end travel arrangements for employees (domestic and international), including tickets, hotels, and ground transportation. Vendor & Partner Management: Maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, airlines, hotels, and cab vendors to ensure best rates and service quality. Employee Service Orientation: Provide prompt and courteous support to employees for all travel-related queries and issues. Compliance & Policy Adherence: Ensure all bookings comply with company travel policies and budget guidelines. MIS & Reporting: Maintain accurate travel records, prepare periodic MIS reports, and track travel expenses for management review. Cost Optimization: Negotiate with vendors for competitive pricing and implement cost-saving initiatives. Issue Resolution: Handle escalations and resolve travel-related problems efficiently. Qualifications & Experience Education: Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM preferred. Experience: 6–10 years in travel desk management or corporate travel operations. Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and administrative abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and travel booking tools. Knowledge of travel policies, vendor management, and cost control.
