Job Description

Job Responsibilities: Supply Chain Management Execute plant-level supply chain strategy to ensure continuous material availability for production. Participate in monthly and weekly S&OP/IBP processes to align production, inventory, and logistics with business needs. Warehouse & Logistics Management Oversee warehousing of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods for optimal space utilization. Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and quality standards. Drive efficiency in inbound/outbound logistics and maintain service level adherence. Manage internal/external logistics partners for timely, cost-effective material movement. Vendor & Procurement Management Ensure timely renewals of AMC, CAMC, HR agreements (canteen, security, bus transportation), logistics, and warehousing contracts. Manage procurement of direct/indirect materials with central procurement. Build strong relationships with local suppliers, transporters, and contractors. Evaluate and improve vendor performance using KPIs and scorecards. Inventory Management Maintain RM/PM inventory: 4 weeks for RM, 3 weeks for PM. Monitor and reduce slow & obsolete inventory (target: 20% improvement). Oversee scrap/redundant inventory disposal per company policy. Conduct periodic inventory audits for accuracy and compliance. Budgeting & Cost Management Prepare annual supply chain budgets covering procurement, logistics, and warehousing. Ensure adherence to budgets across warehousing, transportation, freight, COGS, sales OH, VSE, GB, and copack. Execute CI projects to achieve ~2% budgeted savings and identify future opportunities. Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service or compliance. Compliance & Safety Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations and company policies. Drive adherence to SOPs, audits, and documentation standards. Maintain accurate records of material movement, vendor contracts, and purchases. Achieve 100% compliance in LSR, Gemba, safety schedules, ZHR, and EHS frameworks. Required Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Engineering, MBA in Supply Chain / Operations Management preferred Experience: 8–10 years of relevant experience in Plant-based supply chain management, preferably in FMCG, manufacturing, or process industries Key Competencies & Knowledge: Hands-on experience with SAP Advanced proficiency in MS Excel Understanding of safety, statutory compliance, and audit requirements. Vendor negotiation and relationship management. Strategic planning and analytical skills. Leadership and team management abilities.
