About the Job : Oversee financial planning, capital structuring, governance, risk management, and investor relations, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements for listing while supporting sustainable growth in the highly competitive paper manufacturing industry. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a robust financial strategy aligned with business objectives and IPO readiness Advise the CEO and Board on financial performance, capital structure, and shareholder value creation Drive business growth through cost optimization, capital efficiency, and expansion funding Lead financial due diligence, appoint and coordinate with investment bankers, auditors, legal advisors, and regulatory bodies (SEBI, NSE/BSE) Prepare and review Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) and other IPO-related documents Oversee the transition to public-company reporting standards (Ind AS, IFRS) Establish robust internal controls and corporate governance frameworks Oversee accounting, taxation, treasury, budgeting, and MIS functions Ensure statutory compliance with Companies Act, SEBI guidelines, GST, direct taxes, and environmental levies relevant to the paper industry Optimize working capital, including receivables, payables, and inventory management Drive efficiency across procurement, production, logistics, and energy usage in the mill operations Implement cost control systems and track variances to budget Identify and mitigate financial risks, including forex exposure, commodity price volatility (pulp, chemicals), and environmental compliance risks Establish enterprise risk management framework for pre- and post-IPO stages Develop investor communication strategy, including quarterly earnings releases, investor presentations, and analyst meets Build credibility with institutional investors, analysts, and financial media Oversee development of talent within the function and conduct their performance appraisals Ensure identification of skill requirements of team and execution of required trainings/ projects to develop skills Key Metrics: Strategic Financial Goals Achievement Return on Strategic Investments Financial Forecast Accuracy Audit Findings and Compliance Regulatory Compliance Company EBITDA Budget Variance Forecast Accuracy Risk-Adjusted Return on Capital (RAROC) Financial Risk Exposure 0 deviance in processes Qualifications : Chartered Accountant (CA) – ICAI, or CPA / ACCA (if with significant global market exposure) Bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, or accounting Preferred: MBA in Finance / Strategy from a reputed institute Certification in Corporate Governance, IFRS, or ESG Reporting SEBI-registered CFO training (pre-IPO readiness modules) Experience: 20–25 years in finance 5–7+ years in a CFO or senior leadership role Hands-on IPO experience or a senior finance role in a listed manufacturing company
