Job Title: UFT Tester (2 to 5 Years Experience) "immediate joiner preferred" Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu Experience: 2 to 5 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Description: We are seeking a skilled UFT Tester with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our dynamic QA team in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automated testing using Micro Focus Unified Functional Testing (UFT) tools, along with a solid understanding of software testing methodologies and processes. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using UFT to ensure high-quality software releases. Analyze test requirements, prepare test cases, and develop automation frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and other testers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools. Perform regression testing and troubleshoot test failures. Maintain and enhance existing automated test scripts. Provide regular status updates and test metrics to stakeholders. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in automated testing tools and technologies. Required Skills & Qualifications: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in automated testing using UFT (Unified Functional Testing). Strong knowledge of VBScript for scripting in UFT. Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as ALM, JIRA, or equivalent. Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC). Experience in functional, regression, integration, and system testing. Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) tools like Jenkins is a plus. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
