Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Lead – Reporting Analyst to lead a team of reporting analysts in delivering high-quality Management Information System (MIS) reports and data insights. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in data analysis and reporting with effective people management skills to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable business intelligence that supports organizational decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of reporting analysts, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Assign tasks, monitor workloads, and ensure timely delivery of reporting projects. Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment focused on continuous improvement. Coordinate cross-team efforts and liaise with business stakeholders to understand priorities and reporting needs. Reporting & Data Analysis: Oversee the development, automation, and maintenance of MIS reports and dashboards using BI tools such as Excel, VBA, Power query, SQL and Power BI Validate and ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data reported to internal and external stakeholders. Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support strategic decision-making. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis. Process Improvement & Strategy: Identify opportunities for process automation, system enhancements, and data governance improvements. Support MIS strategy development aligned with organizational goals. Collaborate with IT and data teams on system upgrades, data integration, and reporting tool optimization. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of experience in MIS reporting, data analysis, or business intelligence roles. Proven leadership or supervisory experience managing a team. Expertise in BI/reporting tools (Advance Excel (including VBA & Power Query), SQL, Power BI etc.). Strong proficiency in Excel and data visualization techniques. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and database management. Familiarity with Sales force systems relevant to the industry. Certification in project management (PMP, Agile) or data analytics.
