Job Summary: Supporting infrastructure on various cloud platforms for disaster recovery or migration. This is a Senior Position role with the Support Organization and essentially requires good grasp of technical troubleshooting skills and excellent communications skills to communicate across various stakeholders. Being in a Senior position you should be able to mentor and train other members of the support team. Requirements: Good Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Infrastructure Service Management. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure. Experience working with Disaster Recovery/Migration tools. Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure components, including servers, storage, and networking. Experience with scripting languages such as Golang, Python or PowerShell. Ability to perform log collection and log analysis. Set up and maintain replication across multiple platforms to achieve Disaster Recovery Point Objective (RPO) and Recovery Time Objective (RTO) requirements. OS and Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with at least one of the cloud platforms: AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure (Microsoft Azure). Proficiency in either Windows Operating System or Linux Operating System. Basic understanding and proficiency in managing VMware vCenter for virtualized environments. Intermediate Skills: Proficiency in Continuous Replication tool or similar tools for data replication across multiple platforms. Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment Troubleshooting Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Conduct remote troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently. Identify and troubleshoot ongoing replication issues to ensure data integrity and system availability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues promptly. Documentation Skills: Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and help cards for reference purposes. Maintain comprehensive documentation of replication configurations, DR procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations. Keep documentation up to date with any changes or updates to the systems or processes. Experience of working with Jira is a plus. DR Admin Skills: Conduct Disaster Recovery tests regularly to evaluate and validate the effectiveness of the recovery processes.
